After Seeing This Brilliant Poster, I Now Totally Understand Introverted People. | Atchuup! – Cool Stuff, Pass It On
I feel this is relevant for both teachers and students. As teachers, we need to know our boundaries and our comfort zone. I, for example, am an introvert. I have to get genned up every time I’m in front of a class, and it’s exhausting. It can also be draining if all that interaction is going nowhere.
Likewise, for engaging introverted students, we need to be mindful of this personality trait, just like we’re trying to be more cognizant of learning styles, cultural diversity, sexual orientation, etc. To be truly inclusive, we cannot leave out the bubble people, protected by their “human-sized hamster ball.”
It’s a fun attempt at an infographic, worth a look.
